Thanks for your Wineskin installer. Works on Late 2012 27inch i5 Imac 8gb Ram. updated to El Crapitan. Just sits there when trying to update charts though, progress wheel just spinning. Not tried printing yet either.

mmm.... not sure about this one.  In Finder, have a look in Documents, there should be a folder called SkyDemon, and inside that is there a folder called Charts? Is it empty?  If it's not there, try creating it and trying again. If it is there, try deleting its contents and trying again. 

I've just uploaded an updated version that fixes two issues:
 - PDF plates will now open correctly using your default PDF viewer
 - Showing logs in Google Earth will now work (providing you have Google Earth installed)

Yes, same link as before/above .... follow same instructions as above replacing the previously downloaded version in your Applications folder.

did it and reloaded the SkyDemon app, unzipped it, clicked on it in Programme's folder and started the program.
Charts need to be updated, however the skydemon logo wheels keeps on turning and nothing happens.
Followed your suggestions to delete content in charts folder before updating....no success.

Started downloading the charts one by one, or two by two countries....that worked! Updates loaded, txt WL

glad you've got it working ....  to be honest my knowledge of Wineapp wrapper is little more than a week old, so still finding my way through this.  Not sure I'll be able to get everything to work for everyone.
From what I've picked up there are two known unresolved issues:
 - you have to have a printer installed and configured before using Print Center otherwise Print Center won't work
 - you cannot download all charts in one batch, you need to download them a few at a time
