SD Android (latest version ) on Samsung Galaxy S4 and Nexus 7.
If I create a route between two airfields and then want to insert a turning point (example to select an en-route VRP to keep clear of CAS) should I be able to do it by "dragging" the magenta line with my finger? I can't get it to do this on both devices.
I can only amend my route holding my finger on the screen (over the required VRP/waypoint), selecting the description in the "What's Here?" popup and selecting "Insert into route".
Thanks

Tony

Hi Tim,

I was in planning mode and trying to simply press and hold the magenta line in order to drag it to an intermediate waypoint, as per the user manual.
Couldn't get that to work but did get the popup (when pressing on screen) and I was able to select the option to append new waypoint to my route.

Didn't even think of try a "tap" on the magenta line to see if that would work (wasn't mentioned in user manual).

The explanation that I provided assumed that your were in Navigation Mode. In Planning Mode, route legs are NOT locked.

Okay - I have figured out what was going on.

Most likely I wasn't being accurate enough when touching the magenta line (I have normal fingers!).

I have just tried again on my Samsung S4 (in Planning mode) and can get these results:
1. Can drag the magenta line to a new intermediate point.
or
2. I get the popup "What's Here"
or
3. Move the map around.

The dragging of the magenta line seems to be the most tricky to achieve consistently, though at least I know it works.

Thanks for your help.

Tony
