Latest beta ran very well on my 2012 4.4.4 nexus,so have upgraded to 5.0.2 then 5.1.
It worked well on both lolipop versions, best yet IMHO and find little difference between 2013 nexus which runs 5.0.2 .
I stuck with 4.4.4 on both until the issues were resolved with the 30 march beta and am very happy with the result.

I've just upgraded to Android 5.1. on my Nexus 7, which has been uselss on SD since v 4.4.
On a road test today SD has crashed 3 times.
I reduced the scale from 10 miles to five and emptied the cache.
In the next two hours of driving it didn't crash at all, maybe some of the problems are solved.

Made a one hour flight yesterday with My Nexus7 2012 running Lollipop 5.1 and SD 3.3.0.18274.
It is ROCK steady now. I am using the Bluetooth GNS2000 GPS and Bluetooth GPS Provider App.
