Just returned from a trip to the Maldives (N04^o00'22.27" E72^o56'57.32") and whilst there I fired up SkyDemon on my smartphone to check the distance from home.



After getting a GPS fix I manually loaded the UK chart and then used the menu to select "Route"/"Direct To" and typed in EGKK then "Go". At this point SkyDemon shut down without any warning or error message.



I repeated this for routes to other UK airfields with the same result.

London Microlights are planning a trip to Israel in the summer of 2011 from Damyns Hall in Essex

SD would be my preferential means of check navigation.

The route I would imagine is not firmed up but I suspect it would take in

FRANCE ITALY CORFU GREECE TURKEY ETC and it would be ideal if SD could be extended that far in time for the trip
