When I go back from "simulation" or "flying" back to the normal map screen, showing a route, the virtual radar part of the screen is covered by a black stripe and cannot be seen any more. Nothing helps. The only way to show the virtual radar again is to switch off/on SkyDemon.
Is there any easier way to get the virual radar display again? I found none.
I`m using SkyDemon V3.1 with Android and a Nexus tablet

This isn't something we've seen before. Can anybody else reproduce this?
Have you tried changing the orientation of your device, which should force a re-layout of the screen?

Yes, I tried. Changing the orientation does´nt help. The dark stripe remains in both orientations. Very reliably ...  Android version is 4.4.3, but when I remember right, it happened also with earlier Android versions. The tablet is a Nexus 7

I also tested SkyDemon on my ASUS Tablet with a 13" screen and Andoid (older version 4.0.3). With this tablet everything works fine, the virtual radar comes back after "simulation" or "flying" as expected.

How very strange. I will give it some thought, but at the moment I can't really think of what could be going wrong, and therefore can't think how to address whatever it is.

Nexus 7 with Android 4.4.4.  Tried to reproduce the problem, but it works as it should on my device.

Currently I don´t get an update to Android 4.4.4. The reason may be that my Nexus 7 has an LTE interface integrated. Or Andoid updates in Germany are different from those in other countries.

Solved! Since a new installation of SkyDemon the problem is definitely solved! Now it works fine.
