What is the intended function of setting "Extra time at start of leg" under "Leg properties" in Skydemon Plan?

When I do this, the total flight time goes up (as expected), but fuel required remains unchanged and also the ETE for that leg in the PLOG.

I'm using Skydemon 3.0.6.0 on a PC.

To attempt to reproduce this, I created a two-leg journey. I gave the second leg 30 minutes of extra time at its start. I observed the total time, at the bottom right of the screen, increased by 30 minutes. I then opened the PLOG and observed the 30 minutes of extra time accounted for in the totals column, and in the cumulative time in the ETA column. What am I doing wrong?
