Hi all

I flew the other day with a GPS logger which has produced a GPX file of the flight.

What I would like to do is import this into Plan to view it.

I have tried Route/Import/From file and Tools/Open Flight Log and Tools/import from Garmin device with a GPS connected but with no success. I also tried putting the GPX file into the Logs folder and renaming it with a .flightlog extension. Still no luck!

Any ideas?

Hi Malcolm,

SkyDemon doesn't currently support importing a flight log from a GPX file, but if you'd like to attach it here, we'll get the facility added for the forthcoming 1.4 release.

I've uploaded it as a CSV file as the forum won't accept GPX attachments.

Well, we need it as a GPX file if the goal is to implement importing of GPX files.

I've changed a setting on the forum so that GPX file upload should be allowed.

Downloaded the GPX file and tried importing into SD. Did not work. Works OK with Mem Map. Even tried exporting from MM and then importing to SD.

What am I doing wrong?
