When planning a route via LAM eg EGTB -> CHT -> LAM -> EGMC the current version of SkyDemon on both PC (v2.6.0) and iPad (v2.6.1) substitutes TAWNY for LAM in the PLOG. This occurs whether planning the route manually (Route -> Create Route) or by pointing and clicking to create the route.

Yes, I expect those waypoints are at exactly the same position. When SkyDemon looks up the waypoint at that position, it comes down to chance (mainly) which one you'll get, though it will be consistent between chart updates.

Thanks Tim - for major VORs like LAM it'd be better if you had a rule that says the VOR takes precedent over the intersection...

Could you make that change!?  I fly via LAM (TAWNY) quite a bit and can live with it as is but it just gets on my tits mate

I'm pretty sure if we changed it, people would ask us to assume the intersection instead of the VOR (which nobody uses any more, right?). Without a really compelling reason to change, the risk of breaking existing behaviour is too great, sorry!

Why not make it user selectable?
If I enter LAM, I want LAM in my FP and if I enter TAWNY I want TAWNY.

Because that is not practical, sorry.
