As information about the RNAV facilities is in SD already and the facility to specify the location of turning and way points is already part of the PLOG (so presumably the formulae and algorithms exists) , would it be possible to:

1. add one or two new display box(es) (underneath the boxes that display speed etc) on SD Mobile which display a constantly updated readout relative to a pre-selected VOR/DME etc?

2. A new facility to allow you to determine the position of the aircraft and show it on the SD chart by reference to RNAV aids. So for example you select the name of the station(s) and then get to enter the information presented to you from your RNAV instrument(s) - you then get presented with the chart showing the location of your aircraft.
