I can't readily see anything wrong,

Try deleting your co-ordinates and enter them by hand instead of pasting. I just altered it slightly and lost the OK so it could be that it's picked an extra something up when copied.

It's worth a try

Here is the screenshot that shows the inactive ok button.

I'll have a look at importing my waypoints from via GPX file i can't figure it out the "normal" way :-)

I was just trying to attached a copy of the gpx file for your waypoint so you could download it, but I'm unable to attach it because the import file box is off screen

Jan, Very strange but there is nothing wrong with your set of co-ordinates, it works in mine and I'm using the same version of SD as you are.

I have just tried again and it works ok, the only time I loose the OK button is if I delete name and leave it blank.

When you right click on the chart and then create waypoint, is the OK button live at that point? if it is just try pasting in you co-ordinates in the position window and leave the name alone for now.

Just out of interest, I don't even have a chart loaded for your location and it still inserts the waypoint. If you can post a screen shot of it with the disabled OK button

Hmm this is weird, what version af SD plan are you using ? I tried with a reinstall of the program yesterday (v2.5.2) and i checked
that that my license file is in the right place. I have tried win7 and winxp, and i see the same thing.

I find my co-ordinate on googlemaps i right click the map to add a new waypoint, the name is already filled in with the random co-ordinate
from where ever i clicked the map. Then i paste my co-ordinate from googlemaps replacing what is in 'POSITION' then i give the waypoint a name
and a category, but the OK button is still inactive. Just for hell of it i tried the same "procedure" in the web klient (http://web.skydemon.aero/)
same deal the position felt remains red and the OK button is inactive. I must be doing something wrong i just can't figure out what it is.
when i look at the syntax next to the position box in both clients (Nddmmss Wdddmmss) i wonder if i have to add something to the googlemaps
co-ordinate ?

Thanks for trying to help me figure this out :-)

Kind regards
Jan Jessen

52.556747,-2.665011 I've just pasted this random co-ordinate in from google and it worked alright.

I can't understand why the OK button is not activated, is your copy of SD plan licensed, I don't know if that makes a difference or not, just trying to think why it isn't allowing it.

I've just tried your co-ordinates and it worked for me.

Just realised what you haven't done - Give it a name and the OK button will activate

Hi nje

Thanks for answering, i have tried the way you describe but when i do the ok button in SD is not active, to me it looks like SD doesn't
understand the format from the googlemaps webpage.

Here is one of my waypoints from googlemaps: 55.673649,11.812357

Can you tell me what i'm doing wrong ?

Kind regards

Copy the co-ordinates > go into SD Plan > right click on the chart (anywhere, it doesn't have to be near your waypoint) click >user waypoint > replace whatever is in 'POSITION' by pasting the google co-ordinates > give your location a name > choose a symbol > then OK - All Done.

The new waypoint will position itself in the correct position on the chart, no need to try and do it manually. Hope this helps
