I need somehelp to make a choice. I will buy the Microsoft Surface tablet and I wish useSky Demon with a external GPS receiver Bluetooth. Do you think that it will bepossible?

I haven't tried this myself on a Surface tablet but my understanding is that it should work fine on a Surface PRO tablet, but definitely NOT the cheaper Windows RT one.
I'm not sure the Surface Pro has onboard GPS but if you're using an external bluetooth GPS it should work fine.

I'm in the market for a Windows 8 Pro tablet and with SD in mind I am also looking at the Lenovo Thinkpad Tablet 2, which has onboard GPS and 10 hour battery life, double that of the Surface Pro probably due to the Surface Pro having an i5 processor.

By the way I have a bluetooth GPS that I got on ebay for £20 several years ago (Holux M1000) and I have had it working with SD on my old Windows XP laptop. The laptop's too big to go flying with though
