Hi,

Since the last iPad update of SD, I'm regularly experiencing freezing problems, in particular when zooming of moving the charts with fingers.

I do not know if other people are experiencing the same, but SD has become really unstable and behaviour is really hazardeous.
My main concern is that freezing problem may appear when flying which could be unpleasant.


When it freezes, I have no choice but to close completly SD. I also tried to reinstall completely SD, but it didn't change anything.

I attach some screenshots illustrating such freezing issues (please also note the display bug in the radar window).

Thanks for your help and fore reporting if such issues are known and may be solved in next release.

I'm experiencing exactly the same problem on my iPad 3. I also reinstalled it (losing all my custom waypoints in the process) but the problem remains. I too worry that my hitherto absolutely reliable and responsive tool may let me down in the air.

That's why I still won't update. I am also refraining from updating to iOS6.

Well, I too have avoided IoS6, mainly because I don't want to lose google maps and street view. But I've never had a problem with SD updates before, which have all performed flawlessly and significantly moved things in a forward direction, unlike apple. So this problem is a bit of a dissappointment.

Same problem here, hope Skydemon fixes it asap. Until that time the app is more or less useless since you can't count on it.

Thanks for bearing with us on this one, and apologies for the inconvenience. We've fixed the hanging issue and the fix is going through the Apple approval process at the moment.
