This is something I would like to integrate into SkyDemon at some point but at this stage we haven't even researched where you get such data from as a commercial entity.

I use rain radar images (e.g. www.meteox.com) a lot to get a very accurate idea of bad weather regions and their movement. The trouble is to match up the rain map with the SkyDemon map. A simple rain radar layer on top would be the perfect tool to make informed decisions about routes and bad weather diversions, especially in flight.
