Sorted it now. You have to open up the file in a text editor and make sure the encoding is set to "utf-8"

Hi,
I did not try do something via iTunes, so no help from this side, but this worked:

Look on the forum for topic>aircraft profiles>>How to download and use Aircraft files. Transfer your files to your PC as discribed in the topic (100% working), then on your PC in section AIRCRAFT select the aircraft what you want and SAVE TO CLOUD /one ACFT a time/..., then on your iPad go to>Flight details>>route AIRCRAFT>>>tool>>>>open from cloud, and you should be able to see your ACFTs, select and you are done.

My ipad:
An "opened aircraft" is available on my iPad and in flight details I am able to select various aircrafts.

Have a fun,😉
Jaroslav

I'm having a little trouble importing any aircraft profiles onto the iPad.

I am transferring the .aircraft files via iTunes sync but when I restart the app it crashes immediately on opening. (I have tried a few different files)

Any help would be appreciated.
