I have been using the IPad version over the last few days and trying out as many functions as I can find.
Overall my experience has been excellent - whenever you think "I wonder if it does that", it seems to perform pretty much everything I wanted it do do, and intuitively.
The only thing I would like to see is a (planned) heading indicator being a selectable field at the top of the screen alongside track, GS etc.
I have been using the IPad on a kneepad with a fold-over clipboard which leaves the top inch or so of the screen visible, gives you some writing space and keeps greasy hands away from the screen... OK, I can bug the planned heading in the aircraft DI/HSI or lift the kneepad cover to look at the SD HSI or Log, so it's a small point but to my mind it's a good way to keep flying heading/time without getting tempted to follow the magenta line.
