Chris, I would imagine the reason you do not see Farnborough is because your route lies entirely outside of its promulgated coverage. Or is this not so?

I have had a similar experience with a route from Bagby to Gap in France. Only showed abiut 20% of frequencies on PLOG (some Fr & some UK). Luckily I had also saved the route to the cloud and when I loaded this, the frequencies were on PLOG.

Have no idea of the cause.

Mine does this with Farnborough Radar 122.250. Im based at Thruxton so pretty much every flight uses Farnborough, but its never in the PLOG (PC version), not tried iPad yet.

Going further afield the other Farnborough frequencies do appear.

On this same subject I planned from Jersey to Sabadell LELL, which was great until I entered Spain and then the only frequencies on the plog are navaids. The same thing happens on any internal Spanish flight.

Bournemouth would be shown because it is a published provider of LARS services. I don't think Solent Radar actually provide LARS (at least officially).

Sorry for the delay in responding Tim but in reply to your question I had two reasons for using Solent frequencies, firstly I intended talking to them when crossing open water, and secondly on the return journey I planned to refuel at Popham as there was/is no fuel on the Island and Solent was the closest Radar cover in both instances. Incidentally the Bournmouth frequencies were shown!

I just tried creating a route that flew all the way around the Solent/Bournemouth CTA about 1nm outside at 3000', and while various Southampton and Bournemouth ATS were listed, Solent Radar was conspicuous by its absence. As soon as a leg crossed into the CTA though, Solent appeared in the PLOG frequency list. Curiously, a very similar flight just outside the Gatwick CTA at 2000' does include Gatwick Director on the PLOG. I would certainly expect any flights passing within (say) 5nm of a CTA to include the frequency of the CTA just in case you become uncertain of your position...

On a related note, when including a service on the PLOG such as Gatwick Director who have a listening squawk, would it be possible to automatically list the squawk code on the PLOG?

Can you say why you were expecting the frequency to be shown? Were you penetrating the Solent CTA as part of your plan?

Planned a trip from Fenland to Sandown IOW everything featured in the PLOG except a radio frequency for Solent/Southampton. Southampton VOR/DME details recorded fine. Has anyone else experienced this or indeed any other missing frequencies?
