Regarding the upgrade, I can never remember what to type in for the location- whether it's SDCARD/SkyDemon or just /SkyDemon, and I guess that's why I end up with confusion. I know it isn't much to do, but it would be easier if it was just sorted out for me, together with any shortcuts and button assignments.

We still need to add a notice to the options dialog, but basically the show roads and railways options now takes effect after restarting the software. Most people don't have that option turned on so we decided to improve startup time and memory usage by not loading the data at all unless the option was turned on. Thanks for reminding us about needing to display a notice.

The installer certainly should just upgrade an existing installation, but only if you point it to the last place SkyDemon was installed yourself. Is it this part you wish the installer took care of automatically?

I've downloaded the 1.2.1 beta, and it all seems to work fine - apart from that the 'roads and railways' aren't displayed. I've tried unchecking and checking the tick box, but to no avail. It's running on a Loox 560.



I haven't yet tried it while flying, but the improved alerts look very useful. One thing I would still like to see is a simplified update process for InFlight (or is it now mobile?). It would be a lot easier for me if the installer worked out that I already had a previous version installed, and replaced the necessary files without me having to tell it what to do. I invariably end up with duplicated files and confused menu and button assignments.



Apart from that it's great!
