Hi Tim,

I would love to be able to download a database of a country's official airfield plates (as an option) when downloading charts for a country (obviously only where available as a PDFs from the appropriate AIP/Eurocontrol) and then have the ability to view these from within SkyDemon both in Plan and InFlight.

I envisage a new option on the pop-up context menu for an airfield (where this info is avalable) in addition to "View Approach plate" something like "View AIP Info" and then a list of available plates (e.g. "Aerodrome Textual" "Approach NDB RWY23" etc..) would appear and selecting one of these would launch a pop-up PDF viewer where I could pan/zoom around the selected document.

There seems to be some demand for the ability to view this info from a database in the various forums and this would add major functionality to SkyDemon and be appealing to both VFR and IFR pilots.

Simon
