1. I expect if these are old routes their takeoff time has been explicitly set. SkyDemon will therefore be unable to get winds aloft for their takeoff times (which are presumably in the past). Remove the takeoff time, or set it within the next 24 hours, and SkyDemon should get the winds.

2. Syncing updates charts on your MD but it will not install new charts unless you explicitly ask it to. Go to Setup -> Device Connectivity Options and there's an option in there to define which charts are on your unit.

Hil just to add a bit more detail to question 1, the routes affected are those that have been emailed from a flying buddy, saved and then opened in Skydemon. I can see the routes on the map, but the PLOG is not updated with the winds. For route developed and saved on my laptop then they are OK and the wind updates successfully

Hi I'm using SD on my laptop with my SD mobile device connected, I have 2 questions

1. When loading saved routes using my laptop I notice that the PLOGS do not have the wind updatedand show 000/00, wit the route open and I use the weather menu and the enroute options all the legs are set to "auto" but the wind is still showing 000/00 and the tracks are not re-calculated, what am I doing wrong?

2. I've loaded two European maps onto the lap top but evn after synching my SD mobile device the maps are not showing on the Chart view of the SD device, so I'm not sure if they have uploaded to the SD device
