Many thanks for the reply, as for firmware, might be tricky this is a very cheap generic device from Hong Kong so I think i might have to take it apart to find out the chip manufacture

The display should rotate as soon as you click the rotate button. If it doesn't, it means the device simply doesn't support display rotation. Some people have solved this by acquiring an update to their device's firmware from the manufacturer.

Hi All, ive just bought a generic 5 inch GPS and today went to test this software (I do have to say im very impressed) dead easy to install onto device.



Currently im instructing so wear ex RAF overalls and the GPS fits perfectly in the top let pouch and works wonderfully there so i have good situational awarness without my students being able to cheat with it, as i keep the map on my legs anyway.



Question is I noticed on some pitures the map can be orentated length ways rather than width ways, ive pressed the button under Tools, Options, "Rotate Display" and press "Apply Changes" but there is no change to orentation, is that only avialable in the Full version? or do you think its something silly im doing.
