With the new luxury tax imposed in Italy - also against foreign visiting aircraft (example: C172 staying longer than 48hrs has to pay around EUR 2'500) - I assume that many pilots will look for alternatives to their journies to Italy.

I suggest to consider Croatia and include this country in the SD navigation database. Unfortunately I cannot help with the building of the necessary data since I only visited Croatia by air and have no other connection to the country. I was overhelmed by the scenery and enjoyed the relaxed and straightforward approach towards general aviation in this country as well.

Croatia is a chart we're currently looking at. We have produced some preliminary output and sent it to locals to see, but we're not yet ready to publish anything. How many resources we're able to devote to it largely depends on how often we see this requested.

+1 for Croatia. Amazing scenery - plus very, very GA friendly. Did two trips last year myself - at the club there were at least another three I know of.

I am looking at the Croatian chart, and there are at least two airports (the ones I just happened to look at) which don't have any runway information associated with them. Those are Vrsar (LDPV) and Varazdin (LDVA). Both are relatively busy public airports with reasonably long asphalt runways.

We may license more detailed airfield information for Croatia in the future but at present we see very little demand for the chart so cannot justify it.

Adam, I did check with Croatia authorities, and their VFR manual does not currently have a mechanism whereby it can be licensed and distributed through third party software.
