AirServices Australia, who license the data to us, effectively force us to charge for the Australia chart.

Australia is a welcome addition. Please could you briefly explain why it requires a separate subscription? One of the attractions of SD was that all the worldwide charts are included in the sub rather than having a number of separate expiry dates. Thanks.

Any updates on this front? So sad, such an excellent product and I can't use it I would buy it right away if Australia was available.

We seem to have only two other options down here, one is horrendous (as software), and another is good but only for iPad and not as versatile...

I understand the frustrations, I have been back in Australia for nearly 3 months now, and still am no closer to getting the paperwork approved to fly here! The CAA is a breeze compared to Australia.
Hopefully you can clear the red tape before my subscription expires next year!

We made some progress with Airservices Australia but unlike any other country we have encountered they make it rather difficult to license the data necessary for us to prepare an Australian chart. The difficulties are by no means insurmountable, in fact we have a clear path forward, but they are such that it has fallen down the priority list for the time being, I'm afraid.

Is there any update on when Austrailan Charts might be available?
I am now living back in Australia, and there isn't really anything available that compares to sky demon.
There is a program designed by Aussies for the ipad, but it doesn't come close to what demon can do with planning, weather, NOTAMS, etc.
I see that there are now New Zealand charts available, hopefully you aren't far away from Aus?
