Please would you consider offering the facility to export routes in .ert file format as well as .gpx? Although .gpx is theoretically universal, in practice it is not. Skydemon is brilliant, and would be even more brilliant if this extra facility were offered because it would encourage those of us with built-in EFIS systems that have trouble with imported .gpx files (but not with .ert) to continue to use Skydemon rather than opting for another system that does provide .ert downloads. I know I am not alone in wishing for this, and others have asked, but apparently not enough to persuade you that there is enough demand to make it worthwhile doing. build it and they will come...

Enigma binary waypoint file (.ert) (enigma)

This format can...

read and write waypoints

read and write routes

The format is designed for microcontrollers. Its use is free for any non-military application. You can find a detailed description in the MGL Documentation, which is here

Sounds odd, when following the link of MikeM it reads as if a proprietary file format solely for the Enigma series of MGL, is that really correct somebody is asking for such an exotic format, or is it used elsewhere also?
