On a Windows CE based SkyDemon device, yes, there is. Not on the iPad though. We will find a way to add this capability in a future version.

Ok - another question - on the laptop, I see the Florida map perfectly, and i see the outline of the islands. Inlcuding Puerto Rico and further down.

On the iPad i don't see them - not even the outline. Any hints? Do i need to download some secret map?

@Richard - i have (almost) gotten hold of the Bahamian AIP. If you want to save on the purchase we can share costs (damn thing is 350 USD).

The PC version includes a very coarse world map of country outlines, because memory is not an issue. On the iPad we chose not to include it because memory is more at a premium.

Gotcha. But Puerto Rico for instance should be there as it's part of the US map and you guys have already defined its airspace in the PC based version. FF for instance has it as it is part of the southern US sectionals.Plus the Bahamas / Caribbean data isn't that much of a memory hog - maybe you can define it as a separate "coarse map" to download (and to customise...)?A pity - I would've loved to test it properly on the iPad. As it turns out i've custom-built the Dominican / Bahamian airspace on my PC but can't actually make use of it in flight...

You can put your custom data onto your iPad SkyDemon installation starting with the next version.

I am returning to Bahamas this year. I am very pleased that my original custom data prepared 3 years ago can now be shared via the cloud to an ipad.
It is a shame that the basic Bahamas geography does not show up on the ipad map like the PC version. My airfields just exist in the sea. I appreciate that I should be able to add my own custom geography, but don't know sources of such data and how to add.

If Bahamas are not going to be added as a full map then maybe it would be possible to add the islands to the US or Florida maps? There are quite a few flyers in Florida who go to Bahamas for short trips as they start closer to Florida than Channel Islands do from England.
