I am running a trial download of SD on my PDA. The PDA runs road mapping software no problem. The GPS when running the SD software keeps switching off, is there a reason for this. Is it just the trial software?

Thanks for your reply. The program will run as you say for 30 minutes. The GPS is the problem . It finds my position on the chart no problem, but as soon as I start to move the GPS signal is lost, and needs to be switched back on.It finds my new position but again it will be lost as soon as I move. The device works great as a car navigator. Is there a problem with the SD soft ware.

I am thinking of buying the software, but this problem is putting me off at the moment.
