Show aircraft callsign instead of HEX Code

h Group: Forum Members Posts: 2, Visits: 0	Hi I am using AT-1 for Flarm and ADS-B in and connect my iPad to the Wifi of the AT-1 for position and traffic data. I see other traffic clearly and this is a superb feature. It would be even nicer, if Skydemon had a database and could show the callsigns of other traffic, instead just the HEX Code makes it easier to find friends when going for our usual lunch flights Thanks for considering Fabian

Group: Forum Members Posts: 8.3K, Visits: 9.9K	That is a feature of newer FLARM protocols. SkyDemon does support it, so maybe ensure your AT-1 has the newest firmware. I am not an AT-1 expert so I cannot say for sure whether it emits callsign data, but my understanding is that it should.

N Group: Forum Members Posts: 11, Visits: 0	Same here - almost. FLARM is ok, but all other traffic? My problem is not SkyDemon, I need a solution for my glass-cockpit. But they deal all the same problem, so it would be nice that all help each other to find a good solution for every software. As we often have internet in the planes, it would be great when the software tries to find more info about the traffic online (and cache it?). In CH I now from the registry what kind of plane it is, with the hex I dont. So I vote for a industry standard ;-)

v Group: Forum Members Posts: 40, Visits: 94	In FLARM receiver you van have FLARMnet database with aircraft type, pilots name etc., and would be nice if SD can show those data, as Flarm sends them over RS232...
