At present we don't record whether you are connected to a simulator or not. This is partly because some simulators just pretend to be a real device, so in that case, we wouldn't be able to tell at all. When you use your simulator, do you connect using the X-Plane option in SkyDemon? If so, that's the one case where we could theoretically tell, but we would need to support this as an enhancement to our logging format, which is not on the cards at the moment.

Yes I use SkyDemon Desktop and press Use X-Plane button. I also use a program called "FlightSimGPS" which means I can use the use the X-Plane button for MSFS2020.

I would also find this useful because I have the same issues. I use the „X-Plane“ option to connect to my MSFS via the tool „fs2ff“.

Hello,

I fly using SkyDemon in a simulator as well as live. Can we have a way that our simulator hours are logged separately from our live aircraft hours, so when we use features such as the heatmap, it doesn't combine them.
