I am using SkyDemon on an android phone fitted to a knee Pad. I am trying to force the display orientation 180degs to move the charging port to the top of the display. I dont want to alter the phones standard setting, auto-rotate is off, and I dont think the phone will do a 180deg flip anyway. Is there a way is in SkyDemon to force this rotation?

Can confirm that SD does not respect the OS rotation mode.  Enable auto-rotation, turn the device upside and SD is also displayed upside down.  Other apps correctly rotate to display top up.  This seems like a bug to me, but maybe there's a good reason?

JWalk, would you be willing to satisfy my curiousity as to why you don't want to use the standard OS settings for this?

The phones OS system when set auto-rotate will only rotate the display through 90degs left or right of the normal. It wont rotate the display through 180deg what ever app I use. Also even if it did rotate through 180degs being set on auto-rotate and using it on a knee pad it would keep getting confused which way is up as you moved around. This is why I was looking for a way to force SD into a screen orientation!

SkyDemon should just respect the OS settings.

I have noticed that with the newest iPhones, no app can appear upside down, including Apple apps. I assume Apple have done this because of all the display cutouts that new phones have. It wouldn't surprise me to hear that Android does the same thing, again because of cutouts.
