I've just bought the new SkyDemon MD, which I'm delighted with (maybe the screen could be a bit better in sunlight, but it's not the end of the world).

I often "practice" any new / unusual flights on FSX prior to taking the trip for real. It would be excellent if I could connect the MD to my PC and run it in tandem with MS Flight Sim?

Is this possible?

Not possible I'm afraid, though you might find that using SkyDemon Plan in simulator mode does what you need. It's not possible to run the Mobile MD in simulator mode.

Thanks for the quick reponse.

Are you saying that I can link the plan software to FSX, or simply that I might gain the same benefit using the simulator mode in the plan sofware, instead of using FSX?

My guess is that Tim meant the latter. However, just wanted to highlight that, in this instance, screen sunlight visibility and clarity are hardware related factors and not generally software issues.
