It's a reasonable request, but not enough people pin airfields to their route for us to be able to justify adding a top-level item in What's Here for the action. Therefore it would be a second-level button, if anything:

1. Right-click airfield
2. Click Routing
3. Click Pin to Route

As for adding all airfields within a certain corridor, there are so many minor airfields out there that I promise this would not work very well. You'd end up with dozens, if not hundreds for a long route, and everybody's idea of what is a useful airfield to them is different.

Surely if you are going to download 10 or more airfields every time, why not just download the whole AIP/flight guide each Airac cycle and be done with it?

I do see that if you like to pin lots of airfields a quicker way of doing so would be helpful.

On Sunday I leave for: Bordeaux, Metz, Hannover, Berlin, Gdansk, Szczecin, Mannheim, Bordeaux; can you imagine, how many route adjacent airfield I have? BTW on a C42, 2 weeks.

This feature exists in 4.3.0

Long press on airfield on chart > Information > Pin symbol top right > Select favourites or route.

Yes, that's what I'm talking about!
1 Click airfield
2 Click Information
3 Click Pin
4 Click "to_Route"
= 4 clicks x 10 Airfields = 40 clicks
plus eventually more clicks for aerial view, checking if the airfield is suitable.

I would appreciate, if "pin to route" would be added into the right click APT context menu. Append/insert into route are already there, and pin to route would be handy, adding APTs right and left from the enroute path for safety reasons. In case of an emergency, one cannot be sure, having an internet connection, and I prefer to have them downloaded already.

Now that we are on Version 4.3, which I enjoy very much, really a great leap forward, I want to bring this old topic back to your attention. With the new version, it takes more clicks to pin an airport to the route. If it was only 2 or 3, it would be OK, but when it comes to 10++, it becomes a pain in the neck. I think it is good airmanship to pin airports right and left from the route into the package, because one can never be sure, that an internet connection will be available, or that you have the time to download it, when you need it most. Another more elegant way would be doing this automatically on request for a defined corridor of your route.
