Love the way Glider sites are now displayed. Much better thanks .....

I don't see a problem with how they are depicted, They look pretty obvious to me, I just run the mouse over everything just to check out the route and anything nearby especialy if I haven't been that way before and as stevelup says, in flight you get warned.

Not sure how to answer this one; I suppose the reason is because SkyDemon is designed that way.

Is there a reason why the gliding site symbol is as it is instead go a big G. I flew too near the gliding club at Chipping today as I thought the symbol was a hang gliding site ( it looks a bit like a hang glider symbol and there is a site there -Parlick) ? Tim over to you... A glider would be an alternative ? airfield users today loving skydemon on the iPad on my panel

I agree that when you are planning a route on the PC its easy to "miss" gliding sites; so could be be a bit darker grey. But, as Steve says, mobile warns you as you fly.

Just make sure you use SkyDemon mobile as well as Plan - that way you get an alert if you're about to fly too close to one!

We think they are visible enough, but thank you for the feedback. Other people can comment here if they think otherwise.

Is there a reason why Gliding sites are shown in a grey colour on SD?

It doesn't stand out very well and after reading over the weekend of powered aircraft getting in the mix with gliders on winch launches it seems the sites need to be as visible as possible!
