I was wondering how many people here have used Airbox products? I have friends who use them and I got a copy and it just fails all the time! I tried the SkyDemon product and I must say I loved it at first site. It has yet to crash unlike the Airbox trash! I was interested in seeing what others thought, I removed their sdcard and got it booted to a rather scary and ugly screen which shows their devices are from YF International, something of a disappointing find as I know these cost little but their prices are so high - for a product so full of bugs (mobile & desktop) - I am rather deterred from purchasing ANYTHING from them. What are the new SkyDemon devices? Will they be of better (or at least some) quality? It's all rather exciting and I can see with your beautiful desktop software and ever improving mobile software... I feel Airbox's days are somewhat numbered!

From what we can gather, our technology is a long way ahead of all the competition, including the company you mentioned. Our forthcoming Mobile MD device is built specially for us and is branded SkyDemon throughout. SkyDemon is a mature product and crash reports outside of unsupported third-party Windows CE devices are relatively uncommon.

I'd ask you to just try using SkyDemon flight-planning for a while on the free trial and see what you think. The free trial includes a simulator for our Mobile platform so you can see what that will be like in flight too.

I loved it at first sight...too, thanks to Pink Leader and Screetch82 when I came accidentally across their comments on a web site while searching the net for a decent GPS upgrade. Prior to that I used Garmin Pilot III. I never took other products seriously since, including Garmin's, own that is until I made my one excellent calculated long awaited jump for the best, and subscribed to SD some 10 months ago. I never looked back or elsewhere since.



I must also add that I secured my subscription renewal for another year already although it does not expire till next September.
