Are there any reasons why ESC-Key & "CTRL+mouse scroll wheel" for zoom not working in Windows-Version when opening e.g. briefing pack or Sky Demon Plate?

Presumably because the print preview we use doesn't support that. If you want to zoom in to SkyDemon printed output, you could print to a PDF and then use Acrobat or similar to enlarge it.

Thanks for quick answering. Windows Version allows to close the briefing pack and Sky Demon Plate by clicking on "close" (the "cross") and zooming by hitting + or -

With an ease this could be enabled by shortcuts.

I am not aware that they are "very simple" to implement. Do you have some knowledge of implementing mouse wheel zooming in that situation?

The shortcut to close any window (in Windows) is alt-F4.
