Wrong heading

F Group: Forum Members Posts: 29, Visits: 153	Hi, I planned a short route (attached to the post) but I realized that the heading towards the VRP MEE1 seems clearly wrong (same error on both the Android tablet and the PC version). As many powerful features are not always intuitive, reading the manual is absolutely necessary.

Does Skydemon take the wind into account when indicating a heading? Is it a dynamic parameter then? It will use latest forecast wind for that point in time, assuming it was a recent forecast. You can see the values it is using either on the Pilot Log, or in the tools displayed on the side or top of the chart (depending on your device)

Group: Forum Members Posts: 8.1K, Visits: 9.4K	Yes, SkyDemon calculates your heading taking account of forecast wind at whatever altitude and time you've planned. Strong winds yesterday will have given some very interesting headings to fly, I am sure.
