Have you tried using CTRL + V instead?

No. But that works! Thanks.

I was referring to my PC application which is using Win10. I've just tried to copy and paste Wadswick's PPR link into their airfield notes but there's no right click option allowing me to paste. I was just using that for test purposes.

Have you tried using CTRL + V instead?

What sort of device are you using? I just grabbed what was on my desk to try it - a Samsung tablet - and found I could copy ok. I do agree that one should be able to.

Further to this subject and apologies if it's been discussed before but would it not be possible to allow copy/paste to be used on the Pilot's Notes pages? I recently wanted to place the link to an airfields PPR website and found that typing it it out by hand was just not feasible. It's a loss of a good information source for other readers.

We deliberately turn off editing after a short window to correct initial mistakes, because when pilot notes are responding to other pilot notes (as happens frequently) it's important to us that the historical record is maintained accurately. If there's new information to be shared, the right thing to do is write a new note. Otherwise, another issue would be that the new information would be scrolled up and look like it was out of date.

Would it be possible to leave the edit option open on the Pilot's Notes pages for particular airfields? At present one can edit an input for a short period of time but then the option is removed. If the individual user is logged in and the only person able to alter their own input does it make any difference if the edit option is turned off?

I've put in a few entries where the information I've written could do with updating but been forced to write a separate entry instead. It might keep things tidier if we could simply alter what we've written. One example is updating the phone numbers of local taxis or hostelry etc.
