I have an external Bluetooth GPS (Dual XGPS 150) that I hook up to my iPad mini via BT.

As I understand IOS, the external GPS source will  be used (take precedence) if present, and hence IOS location services will rely on my external GPS. Hence when I activate Skydemon I choose 'Location Services' (not GDL 90)

But how do I tell if is actually the external GPS that is in use, and not the iPad internal GPS ??

I realise this is perhaps more a question for Apple and the IOS crowd - but I have been unable to find any good explanations, and hope some of you guys have found some info

Blue skies :-)

If it matters:
- GPS: Dual XGPS 150
- Tablet: iPad Mini 5 (WIFI + Cell - hence with internal GPS)
- Skydemon: Version 3.16.9

Apple don't tell us (the app) so we can't tell you. Personally I do not know the answer.
