Virtual radar is using the nearest "highest terrain" data points so this is by design. Mountain passes are by their nature the lowest terrain you can get through, so virtual radar is not particularly useful, terrain-wise, for flying through narrow valleys.

Hi all,
I am planning a flight that will follow the GAFOR route S92, and when my route crosses the Julier pass the virtual radar shows the terrain as if it was at my planned altitude (9500 ft) whereas it is clearly indicated on the map that the pass is at 7493. Am I missing something, or is this a bug? Se screenshot for reference.
