I believe the ARP for these airfields was originally disseminated in a rounded fashion, and it will be a gradual process of us possibly changing them to better fit the actual runway locations.

I've asked our South Africa specialist to take a look into this.

Hi Tim
I found today, that the misplaced airstrip from my original post (FAZR) has been corrected.
Great! Thank you for sorting this out!

Unfortunately most of the other airfields around Jo‘burg are still misplaced. E.g. Morningside Farm (FAMS) and Tebalja.
Same problem: Runway line is correct, but the circle is at the wrong location

Hi I’m currently flying around J’burg and noticed that almost all official Airfields are misplaced. FAZR Zeerust is a good example:
The airstrip is not at the position where the CIRCEL is, but on the other side of the road. I had to create my own waypoint according to the google maps picture and this was correct.

This seams to be a general problem in the area, bcs all Airfields I checked were more or less shifted.

did you check if the apt coordinates are correct (as published / own-ship depiction while flying there)? It's very unlikely to be consistently shifted for multiple airports, it will rather be the database of the roads...

There seems to be a longitude/latitude rounding error for the CIRCEL in Skydemon. The BLACK LINE for the runway itself is at the correct position.
CIRCEL: S253600 E0260200
BLACK LINE (an effective location of the airstrip) S253556 E260232
And I found this :

Are you getting the same South Africa mapping issues highlighted a couple of topics ago?
When zooming in the terrain detail is replaced by two-tone green or pink squares.

No, this is not an issue on my device
