Approx 2 weeks ago I installed SD on my desktop for evaluation. This has, and still is functioning fine.

I then installed SD mobile on a CE device which has also worked fine until now.

Now when I try to start SD on the mobile, it starts to open then gives me message that 30 day evaluation has expired.

I don't understand as I have not had it for 30 days and desktop is still working fine.

I have tried wiping SD from mobile and re-installing but still same message.

How can I continue my evaluation on this CE device ?

Any help appreciated.

regards

Alan

The "usual" explanation for this pretty rare occurence is that the date was set wrong on your device when the trial started. Unfortunately there's not a lot we can do about this, though you could temporarily set the date back when starting the software. SkyDemon will correct the date as soon as a valid GPS fix is obtained.

Thanks Tim,  suspect you are correct, did not pay attention to device date when first installing then it maybe gps updates and software thinks it is expired on next restart.

Have overcome by re flashing WinCE on device and reinstalling, seems to be working again now.

I guess SD must bury some date reference when first installed into WinCE or registry which it then uses for licence date reference.

Anyway thanks for interest

Alan
