I'm missing the "Aerial Photography" menue item in the Win/PC version, like it is existing in the iOS versions.
I thought, it has been existing in the past...
PC: SD 3.15.7.0,  Windows 10 Pro
iPhone: SD 3.15.7

There is no Aerial Photography function in the PC version, because such a feature does not exist to be built upon in Windows.

You could always use Right Click / View on Map

For photographic reasons I want to mark certain places as waypoints and there doesn't seem to be an easy way back to SD for the location data determined in GoogleMaps.
There is no serios problem as I can use SD on the iPad.
