We're considering doing that, but only the portion of SkyDemon customers who need ICAO airfield plates would be helped by this. A great deal of customers fly to non-ICAO fields for which there are no plates in Eurocontrol.

Tim,

I have to say I have never used the internal airport plates as I found them practically unusable. I would have to use them with the official AIP charts anyway and for that matter I'd use just the AIP chart (I use just SkyDemon Plan and not the Mobile version).

However... why not to link the SkyDemon to eurocontrol? There you have charts for airports from many European countries and for instance Rocket Route has already integrated them into their tool.

We actually already spoke to Pooleys about this, but for technical reasons (which I wont bore you with) we wont be using their plates.

The best solution we can find is to create our own plates from raw data, and that is a project that we are working on in the background.

Hello,

Just wondered if you'd considered integrating an electronic version of pooleys flight guide?

It would be great if these could pop up ready to print as part of the overall plan, or even ad-hoc printing (i.e. from selecting an airfield or menu).  This is an option I would consider a 'premium' subscription or something similar.

I have the paper version, but would much rather have an easy way to print just the ones I need, wherever I am, rather than carry the whole binder, or be stuck somewhere without the right plates. I've noticed pooleys are appearing electronically in a few places at the moment.  Would be great to see it here.
