Hi Freccia, from my personal experience i would strongly recommend to start with an empty profile and go through all available entry fields. If you use an existing profile, you anyway have to check all fields to make sure, your profile fits your aircraft. With a good profile, based on your POH, SD's fuel calculations are incredibly precise! I know, this answer will not help you very much ;-) but it is the only way to get good calculations from SD. Gerhard Hi Gerhard, thanks for your help but I wrote this question because I haven't found a way to create an empty profile. SD only allows me to modify one that looks like my airplane

SD only allows me to modify one that looks like my airplane Oh sorry, I created my profiles some years ago and told you nonsense ;-) I guess it does not matter from which default aircraft you start, as you have to check all entry fields thoroughly. I’m sure, you cannot let even one of the fields unchanged…
