Hi all,

An idea for consideration..    When a traffic target signal is temporarily lost by SkyEcho, would anyone else find it useful if SD kept the last known location of the aircraft on the SkyDemon display for a short period of time (post signal loss) before it disappears fully from the screen.

Perhaps it could fade out over 5 seconds, 10 seconds, 15 seconds becoming more transparent or perhaps could be highlighted in a different colour (red/grey) to indicate the actual signal has been lost but still show the last known position, heading and reported altitude.

When looking outside the window for traffic, and failing to identify it, when glancing back at the SD screen to see the aircraft has disappeared may lead to a longer time spent looking for it on the screen rather than outside the window.

If the aircraft was still present on the screen indicating a signal loss it would reduce the time spent looking inside the aircraft instead of outside for the traffic.

Open to the crowd for thoughts, suggestions and rejections.

Cheers,
A
