I recently bought the SD Navigation device & that came with the planning software,. After using it on a couple of flights I was pretty dissapointed with the unit, its laggy IMHO. The software on the other hand is superb! So I've now got an HTC HD2 to run it on, trouble is its only the evaluation version, after paying nearly £600 for the device & software, do I really need to spend another £79 for a license to run the navigation software on my HTC device?

Hi Craig,



From a quick look on the SD website the purchase of the SD mobile device includes one years subscription, see HERE. I would think simply installing on your HD2 via your PC should put all the files in place including the license.



Any trouble then visit the "Customer area" HERE and you should be able to get your license but (I think) this will invalidate all old versions of your license so will need to be synced wherever SD is on various devices. If not then send them an email, I can't see why you should need to stump up any more cash until your 12 months is up.
