Speaking from the Netherlands where our airspace is being swamped with lots of airspace restrictions. Many which stem from uncoordinated Defence agencies, wildly shooting around "nature" organisations. Our VFR X-country map is getting more and more unclear by the day. Looking at a VFR map, it SHOULD be possible to take a glance and determine a route/altitude.
Forget that here, any navigation requires good thorough planning, Basically flying without any electronic nav device is getting risky to run into an airspace Infringement.
For any preparation SD is way better than our own EAIP, highlighting the NOTAMed airspace works wonderful.
I appreciate the hard work and perseverance in finding a way to get all that info presented clearly in the map.
Although I only "converted" from paper maps last Year, I would not like to fly anymore without my SD!!!
NO, I don't have family at SD Smile
