GAFOR routes not visible - Windows and Android

Group: Forum Members Posts: 9, Visits: 0	Hey folks, It's Tuesday evening and I am planning a flight from Zell am See (LOWZ) to Salzburg (LOWS) along GAFOR Route LO56 on Friday afternoon. The GAFOR route is not visible on my Android device or my Windows 10 PC. The current version of the manual states "GAFOR forecasts can be switched on or off in the Weather menu on your tablet or phone, and in the Mapping menu on your PC" Is this because I am planning so far in advance? Is it because it is after dark here? I cannot for the life of me find the GAFOR routes in either version of the software I have up and running this evening. Any advice very gratefully received! G Group: Forum Members Posts: 168, Visits: 355	Hi Andrew, if there is no valid GAFOR available, the GAFOR Routes are displayed as dashed grey lines.

Group: Forum Members Posts: 9, Visits: 0	Very cool to have the GAFORs up and running during daylight hours! This leads me to the next question.... Is it possible to treat GAFORs as airways? In my case planning St Johann in Tirol to Innsbruck, create a route using the 'Create Route' button and then plan LOIJ LO55 LO12 DCT Very grateful for tips and advice. Group: Forum Members Posts: 8K, Visits: 9.1K	No, they cannot be treated as airways. Normally people plan an approximation along them, knowing that the actual flying will of course be by eye, and not straight lines, in such conditions.
