Hello.

Is it possible to ad a menuto choose the range circle of the traffic radar? It shows a 2nm circle, but it would be better to have 5 or 8 nm. 2 nm with 2 planes, which fly esch 120 kt are just 30 sec.

The reason for the current 2.5 ish miles is that you probably cannot see any further than that with your eyes. The range is dynamic, so it will increase if there is a very fast threat outside, and it will decrease to help you track a threat too.

How much adrenaline do you want to waste? Typically you need a qualified warning containing heading and altitude difference about 40 seconds in advance. This also happens to be about the time you get from the low power conspicuity solutions connected to PAW, Stratux and Flarm. Everything outside that time window really does not matter, or do you disagree?

It is a bit like headlights when riding your car, there is no use at all to illuminate the whole village, you only need lights where something important to your driving may happen ;-) everything else is superfluous and potential distracting information. I am totally fine with the current solution in Skydemon, because if I am in a significantly faster aircraft, it does have other professional means for anti-collision anyways.
