Purple Icon....but getting valid data on Output page....

Group: Forum Members Posts: 3, Visits: 12	HELP..!! First flight...Must have pressed wrong bit when bumping along.....lost GPS input. Back on ground tried to read para on GPS set-up....but it seemed to be worded for Hand Held Compatibles. Anyway, tried the various Hardware options and got reception with COM 1 and BAUD 4800 or 9600....Valid data on the Output page.....BUT the ICON is still PURPLE. Will try another airborne test tomorrow, Wed, afternoon. Any input appreciated. Many thanks, Sandy

Packing up....Removed USB lead from computer.....looked back at the screen....AND THE ICON IS GREEN....!! Reconnected USB.....and Icon is Purple again... Disconnected USB.....Icon GREEN again...!! But why....?? Comments still welcomed. Sandy

Group: Forum Members Posts: 8K, Visits: 9.1K	Sure you're not looking at the battery icon? That goes purple when charging, but the GPS icon only goes purple when the GPS is stopped.
