Perhaps some people will chime in confirming they've managed it.
I cant seem to connect via Win7 as the Mio V735 goes into its own screen and Win7 doesnt see it
I tried to copy over the correct cab from the expanded .net instaler but when clicking it on the unit, i get this is not a valid installer file
Are there any Dll's I can look for to indicate if .Net is installed or not??
As a side note, PocketFMS runs fine fromm the memory card...., does that use .Net?

Dale
P.S I WANT to use YOUR product, its streets ahead........
To install .net compact framework follow the link below. You need to install it while your device is connected by ActiveSync (Windows Mobile Device Center) and then it will install itself on your device too, if you tell it to.

I cant use Activesync, When the device detects theUSB lead plugged in, it goes into its own animated 'just had a lead plugged in' screen
Activesync there fore doesnt detect the device.
Do you know what files are used on the CE side for activesync? Maybe i could copy them over manually, run activesync by hand?

I also had to add Net 3.5 for SKyDemon to work with Ipaq 4700hx.

I've recently purchased a WinCE6 (embedded) satnav via ebay (Sold by "Gomallgo").
It doesn't really have a name, but the vendor called it: "A 4.3" Navigator 4GB 2009 Europe Map SpeedCam 128MB SDRAM". (He also has 5" units). Comes with a 4GB SDHC card with iGO8 Europe (a good road satnav prog). Plenty of space left for SKD.
Info for Tim's hardware collection:
It has .net 2 ; siRf iv, & a 600 MHz processor. Satellite reception is very sensitive & altitude does not need correcting. Battery life about 2 hours. SkyDemon inFlight runs as well as on any other unit I've tried.

Max.
how do i avoid that the device boots straight into the car nav software? I would like to use it as a normal pda and add skydaemon as a start icon ________________________________________________________________________Galaxy Tab Plus 7 inch, NavsGo GO7100 as of March11
