Incorrect interpretation of NOTAM data

Group: Forum Members Posts: 8.3K, Visits: 9.9K	Any traditional narrow-route briefing would also have it positioned in the wrong position. If the issuing authority place a NOTAM in the wrong place, they really do not have a leg to stand on if anybody isn't aware of it.

SkyDemon draws it wherever the Q line tells us it is, as a start, not be reading the plain text within the NOTAM. So this would have been one for the issuing authorities to correct. Ok, thanks for the explanation. It's good to be aware that this can happen, so I'll be extra careful to double check these things during planning in future. I only noticed this one because I know the areas in question, but I admit generally en route, it's tempting just to rely on SD.

c Group: Forum Members Posts: 8, Visits: 5	NOTAM A/2161/19: MODEL FLYING WILL TAKE PLACE AT RONNELD PSN 592240N 0112410E Skydemon shows a circle with 1km radius 11nm North East of the correct location. Normally not a huge concern, but in this case it is quite close to an active airfield, and also means the correct location is not marked. The correct location is RONNELD (Sarpsborg model flying club): https://www.google.com/maps/@59.2240634,11.2400034,728m/data=!3m1!1e3 The location reported by SkyDemon is close to Rakkestad (ENRK): https://www.google.com/maps?t=k&z=17&ll=59.384080,11.398970
